The BlueWorks ONE Foil represents to date the pinnacle of carbon fiber moth foil design, setting a new standard in every aspect of its development. From the initial design phase to the meticulous construction process and the selection of materials, no compromises were made.
Featuring a continuous top surface and a carbon hinge, the foil's hydrodynamic profile ensures the cleanest possible flow around it, maximizing performance on the water.
The innovative anhedral configuration enhances the foil's capabilities, enabling sailors to achieve greater altitude while flying, reducing the front vertical wetted surface area, and minimizing the risk of piercing the water's surface, particularly when sailing upwind.
Utilizing the revolutionary ONE-SHOT construction method, the foil is meticulously crafted in a single process as a unified unit with a moving flap, eliminating the need for subsequent post-processing stages and ensuring unparalleled precision. This innovative technique involves the precise alignment of over 250 distinct high modulus carbon prepreg layers, which are then subjected to curing under tremendous pressure (exceeding 60 tons) and high temperatures (120°C) in a heated press. The result is a carbon fiber foil of exceptional quality that remains unmatched even six years later.
The BlueWorks ONE Foil stands in a league of its own, proof of the commitment to excellence and the refusal to compromise on the goals set from the project's inception. Its unparalleled performance and superior quality continues to evoke a deep sense of pride.
